Spinach Pineapple Green Smoothie with Almond Milk and Bananas

Spinach Pineapple Green Smoothie 2I love mixing tropical fruit into my green smoothies. My latest concoction is this spinach, banana, almond milk and pineapple mix. It turned out to be a super creamy and refreshing green smoothie, perfect for a morning pick-me-up.

Green smoothies are an excellent way to get more nutrient dense greens into your diet. The combination of pineapple and banana is packed with vitamins and nutrients and with the addition of spinach, you know it’s a winner.

I haven’t done pineapple in my morning smoothie for a while but you’ve inspired me to go out and get one! I love using spinach – I think it always makes my smoothies more silky in texture. If I don’t have any fresh on hand, I usually have a bag of frozen in the freezer waiting to go.

I love green smoothies with spinach as well, you can hardly taste it! If you don’t feel like chopping up a fresh pineapple you could always use frozen chunks.
