Blended Mango Sorbet – The Fastest and Easiest Sorbet Recipe

If you’re looking for an icy dessert fix, this recipe is for you. With just 3 simple ingredients, a blender and about 5 minutes you’ll have a quick healthy summer dessert. I used my trusty Blendtec blender and puréed the mango till there were no more chunks.

Blendtec is a company that sells high-powered professional and home blenders. They’re also known for their Will It Blend infomercial videos demonstrating how powerful the blenders really are. You can actually make hot soup with it on high-speed because of the heat friction! I use my Blendtec for everything, however, you can also use a regular blender or food processor, but purée the frozen mango a little first before putting in the liquids. For more sweetness, I used the juice of a valencia orange and agave syrup. If you don’t have agave, honey or maple syrup work fine. If you don’t have those, use sugar, but dissolved into water (simple syrup) so the frozen mango can blend easily. I love mango but feel free to substitute another frozen fruit, like frozen strawberries or raspberries.

3-4 cups frozen mango
juice of one valencia orange
1 tablespoon agave nectar

Blend all ingredients on high in blender until smooth and creamy. Eat immediately and enjoy!
